Vekvernar is a war veteran of the Demons Wars where he served as a support commander and healer under Arcamedus. After the Demon Wars, Vekvernar retired from active duty to serve his time at the church of the Summer Wyrm teaching.

Vekvernar was the last of the leadership to join the Sunriders as he felt his time had come and gone to help Sadire but his friend Arcamedus proved too presuasive for him to resist. He now focuses on training and logistics for the Sunriders.
